Water
The village of Exeter water system is supplied by three wells having an average water level of 290 feet. The system has a combined maximum capacity of 1,500 gallons per minute and an average storage capacity of 100,000 gallons. The average daily summer demand is 400,000 gallons, and the historic peak daily demand is 700,000 gallons. The average water temperature is 55 degrees. The quality of water in Exeter does not necessitate a water treatment plant.
